Brief Character Summary
Discharge Report for Doctor 54
Created to serve as a doctor to constructs and humans alike but specialized in dealing with constructs as some humans found their demeanor off putting. Overall they served valiantly in the war and is responsible for field repairs on dozens of other constructs despite having little in the way of personal combat skills. It is with regret that we recommend they be discharged as at this time we have little use for their skills in peacetime.
Letter of Unknown Origin 1
We think that the thing we are looking for is called Doctor 54. From the Discharge Report we know it was a specialist in constructs and we have confirmed that it matches the sketches that we have. Sadly the leads to go on now are pretty sparse, it's only known acquaintance is a human doctor named Liz but she appeared to have died during the war. We searched what was left of her personal effects but didn't find much, only some letters signed 'LIV' who we suspect was another acquaintance of it from the military that we haven't been able to track down yet.
Letter of Unknown Origin 2
We were able to track down Doctor 54. It managed to evade our squad, the Discharge Report mentioned a lack of combat skills but it appears to have increased those skills through rudimentary magic items that it created in addition to a dog-like construct, which it sacrificed to give it time to escape. We are in pursuit and now that we know it's capabilities we are confident that our next attempt will be successful.
How To Play
So this character generally stands on the front line due to high armor class and it's Steel Defender companion being able to impose disadvantage on hit. One thing to remember is that you don't really care that much if the Steel Defender dies because all it takes is one level 1 spell slot to bring them back so if enemies are attacking them and not other people then that's great.
Personality
Just doesn't really care that much about most people, especially the Steel Defender companion (who they will sacrifice without hesitation even though it's in the form of a dog), and is very proper and doesn't always really understand people. Seems emotionless (even though that isn't really true), which is reinforced by the fact that the face doesn't have the mobility to actually make any facial expressions. This means that it's hard to tell what they are thinking but sometimes you can tell from the language and especially how the eyes look.
