Posting:Investigate A Magical Weapon

Some of our adventuring parties found an Obelisk stuck in the ground. It appears to have strong magical properties. One of the prisoner investigation teams unfortunately lost two of their prisoners when the prisoners ventured too close to the obelisk while fighting of the last ration of jerky. This alone would be enough to warrant an investigation, but what concerns us ever more is that the obelisk appears to be new, having been placed there within the last month or so.
