She lives in a lair of sorts. Within the lair was a room with piles of armor and equipment from mercenaries that were hunting her. Notes found with the piles suggested that Demi worked for the same organization as the mercenaries, but she defected. There were no bodies, and Demi did creepily mention that "their bodies didn't go to waste".
