FAQ
Is this game friendly to people who cant always make it?
Yes! In fact it was designed around that type of player. Each quest will begin and end back at the Guild Hall, meaning that if you are unable to make it one day that just translates into your character chilling at the guild hall.
You can catch up on any quests you miss out on by reading the Quest Logs.
How do I create a new character for this campaign?
We are following the "PHB+1" rules, which means that when picking your class/race/specialization/etc you can use anything in the Players Handbook, plus anything from one other book of your choice. Your character should start at level 2 with the starting equipment that your class grants including starting wealth as found on PHB143.

If I can have my character stay behind at the guild hall does that mean I can have multiple characters?
It does, however the house rule is that you can only play one character per session. In addition you should keep in mind that each of your characters will level up separately.
Can I create an infinite number of characters?
Yes! However the house rule is that you can only play one character per session, so you will only be able to create one new character each session. In addition you should keep in mind that each new character starts at level 2, and all of your characters will level up separately.
Can I allow other players to play characters I have created?
Yes, but this is not recommended. Each player can only play one character per session so they will not be able to play their own character if they are using one of yours. In addition anything that happens to your character while another person is playing it will become cannon, meaning that if they trade all their gear for a cursed sword you are now stuck with a gearless character that is soulbonded to a sword that is slowly draining your max HP.
Will player characters die in this campaign?
Only if mistakes are made, the encounters are based around the quest they are a part of and not based around the current party level. Usually the party can get a rough idea on how difficult the quest will be by looking at the reward the quest poses on the Posting Board but this is not always accurate and the party must know when it is time to run away if they need to.
Can characters be resurrected?
Yes, as long as you can find a player or NPC who can perform the resurrection spell, and you can find or purchase the components necessary to cast the spell.
If my character dies and I roll a new one to replace them do they have to start at level 2?
Yes, all new characters must start at level 2 unless otherwise granted by the DM.
If my character dies and I roll a new one to replace them can I get new magic items and equipment?
No, if your gear was lost in the void you are unable to retrieve it. If your party manages to collect it off your corpse then you will have to figure out a way to negotiate it away from them. In this particular case you may talk to the DM about additional starting gold based on your increased level, but this is not guaranteed to happen.
What is the purpose of this Wiki?
This site is the culmination of all of the shared guild knowledge, it is recommended for you as a player to share any information you learn with your allies by using this site, however you are not compelled do put anything on here except for one person in any given session being required to add a Quest Log. The DM will only populate minimal information for the players to use on this site, with most of the content being player recorded.
Can I get a map of the world?
A map of the Sunholm Guild Hall is provided but all other maps must be created by the players as they explore the world. There is however no requirement for any players to share the maps they create, nor is there a requirement for those maps to be accurate.
