Posting:A Poetic Enigma

One of our scout groups found a magical scroll that looks like it opens a gateway to something. However it is locked behind some kind of protective countermeasure that appears to be a poem. Though one that does not make much sense.

Anyways if you can figure it out it would greatly aid our research of the device.

Only one color, but not one size,
Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies.
Present in sun, but not in rain,
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain.
