Brief Backstory
Poppy got "rescued" from a life on the streets by a sympathetic priest, and she's never forgiven them for it. She's been putting up with temple life by sneaking away from cleric training to go learn how to punch more things, but they keep expecting her to go to more and more prayer meetings. The first couple of times she tried to run away, someone from the temple came and found her and dragged her back, but if she goes through this portal, it'll be *really* hard for them to bring her back, so may as well...
